Students from Fatih University (Istanbul) post academic vocabulary, related phonetics and definitions. The aim is to familiarize students at the English Preparatory School with specific vocabulary items related to university classes.
Instructions
1. Go to the VOA website.
2. Choose an article.
3. Listen to and read the article at the same time.
4. Select TWO unknown words.
5. Look them up in the dictionary.
6. Copy the the definition and phonetics on the posting window. Don't forget the title of the article.
7. Write your own example sentence.
8. Write down the main idea of the article (max. 2 sentences).
